A larger Japanese style chef's knife, suitable for a wide range of tasks, from chopping to carving. The blade is slightly narrower than Small chef's, but the greater weight adds to its striking force. The long straight blade is also able to perform long cutting strokes for thin slicing of meat and fish.
The blade is made from forged carbon steel and the handle is cut from curly birch, coated with linseed oil – which ensure a firm grip, even when wet.
Comes with a knife rack in birch, also with a linseed oil coating.
Crafted, sharpened and perfected by hand in Harmoinen, Finland.
